Saver Space – Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Saver Space ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our mobile or web application ("App") and related services, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Overview of Services

Saver Space is a peer-to-peer marketplace where users can:

  • List unused space (e.g., garages, rooms, car spaces, offices, beauty rooms, warehouses) for short- or long-term rental ("Hosts")
  • Search for and rent available space ("Renters")

We act as an intermediary platform and are not a party to any rental agreement between users.

3. User Eligibility

  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally capable of entering into contracts
  • Using the platform for lawful purposes only

We reserve the right to deny or terminate any account that violates these conditions.

4. User Accounts

  • Users must provide accurate information upon registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree not to share your account or impersonate others.

5. Listings & Bookings

For Hosts:

  • You agree to provide accurate descriptions, pricing, and availability.
  • You are solely responsible for the condition, legality, and safety of your space.
  • You agree to honor all confirmed bookings.

For Renters:

  • You agree to use rented spaces only as described during the booking.
  • You must leave the space in the same condition it was in when you arrived.

6. Fees and Payments

Saver Space operates on a per membership payment basis.

Payments are processed via Stripe, and you agree to their terms of service.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation and refund terms vary based on Host settings.
  • Saver Space is not responsible for disputes between users; however, we may assist in mediation where possible.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any local, state, or national laws
  • Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to damage or interfere with our platform

We reserve the right to suspend or remove users who violate our policies.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • Saver Space is a facilitator, not a property manager or insurer.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or legality of user listings.
  • We are not liable for loss, theft, damage, or injury resulting from a booking or space use.
  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months prior to a claim.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, design, and software on the platform are owned or licensed by Saver Space and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without our permission.

11. Privacy Policy

By using the platform, you consent to our collection and use of data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violating these Terms or applicable laws. You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Queensland.

14. Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
